Overview
A Limit Order allows you to buy or sell a digital asset at a price you specify.
The order will only be executed when a matching order is available at your specified price or a better price. If the market does not reach your specified price, the order may remain open and unfilled.
BKG Exchange charges a 0.12% trading fee for both Makers and Takers.
1. How to Place a Limit Order on the Website
Step 1: Log In
Log in to your BKG Exchange account through the official website.
Step 2: Open Spot Trading
Go to the Spot Trading page and select the trading pair you want to trade.
For example:
BTC/USDT
Step 3: Select Limit Order
In the order panel, select Limit Order.
Step 4: Enter the Order Price
Enter the price at which you want to buy or sell the asset.
For example, if you want to buy BTC at 98,000 USDT, enter:
Price: 98,000 USDT
Step 5: Enter the Order Amount
Enter the amount of the asset you want to buy or sell.
Check the estimated order value before submitting the order.
Step 6: Submit the Order
Review the trading pair, price, and quantity.
Select Buy or Sell to submit the Limit Order.
Step 7: Check Your Order
After submission, you can check the order status in the open orders or order history section.
An order may be:
- Open: Waiting for execution
- Partially Filled: Part of the order has been executed
- Filled: The entire order has been executed
- Canceled: The remaining unfilled amount has been canceled
2. How to Place a Limit Order in the App
Step 1: Log In
Open the BKG Exchange App and log in to your account.
Step 2: Open Spot Trading
Go to the Spot Trading section and select the trading pair you want to trade.
Step 3: Select Limit Order
Select Limit Order in the order panel.
Step 4: Enter Price and Amount
Enter your desired order price and trading amount.
Step 5: Submit the Order
Select Buy or Sell after checking the order details.
Step 6: Check the Order Status
You can view your open orders and order history to check whether the order has been executed.
3. Example
Suppose BTC is currently trading at 100,000 USDT.
You want to buy BTC only when the price reaches 98,000 USDT.
You can place a Limit Order with:
- Trading Pair: BTC/USDT
- Order Type: Limit Order
- Price: 98,000 USDT
- Amount: Your desired BTC quantity
If a matching order becomes available at the specified price or a better price, your order may be executed.
If the market does not reach the specified price, the order may remain open.
4. Important Notes
- A Limit Order does not guarantee execution.
- The order may be partially filled if there is insufficient matching liquidity.
- You can cancel an open order before it is fully executed.
