Overview
After starting Copy Trading, you can monitor your copied positions, review performance, and manage your Copy Trading settings through BKG Exchange.
Regularly reviewing your copied positions and account status can help you understand your current exposure and manage your allocated funds.
1. View Your Copy Trading Status
Open the Copy Trading section to view your current Copy Trading information.
Depending on the available platform features, you may be able to view:
- Followed Trader
- Copy Trading status
- Allocated funds
- Current copied positions
- Realized P&L
- Unrealized P&L
- Trading history
- Pending profit-sharing amount
2. Monitor Copied Positions
Review your active copied positions regularly.
You may check:
- Trading pair
- Position direction
- Entry price
- Position size
- Leverage
- Unrealized P&L
- Position status
- Other available position information
Your copied position may not have exactly the same entry price, position size, or P&L as the Trader's position.
3. Monitor Realized P&L
When a copied position is closed, it generates realized profit or loss.
Realized P&L is included in the profit-sharing calculation for the applicable settlement period.
Both positions closed by the Trader and positions closed by the Copy Trader may generate realized P&L for the calculation.
4. Monitor Pending Profit Sharing
The pending profit-sharing amount is calculated based on the current net realized result during the applicable settlement period.
Pending Profit Sharing = (Period Realized P&L − Period Fees) × Profit-Sharing Ratio
The pending amount is frozen and cannot be used as available margin.
Because the calculation is updated as new realized P&L is generated, the pending amount may increase or decrease during the settlement period.
5. Adjust Copy Trading Settings
Depending on the available Copy Trading configuration, you may be able to adjust settings such as:
- Copy investment amount
- Copy amount or ratio
- Maximum copy amount
- Risk-control settings
- Other available Copy Trading parameters
Some settings may only be changed when permitted by the platform's current Copy Trading rules.
Always review the applicable settings and confirm the changes before saving.
6. Stop Copy Trading
If you no longer want to follow a Trader, you can use the available Copy Trading controls to stop copying.
Before stopping:
- Review your current copied positions.
- Check your realized and unrealized P&L.
- Check any pending profit-sharing amount.
- Review the applicable rules for active copied positions.
- Confirm the action.
Stopping Copy Trading does not automatically reverse trades that have already been executed.
7. Managing Positions Manually
Depending on the platform's Copy Trading rules, a Copy Trader may be able to close a copied position manually.
When a copied position is manually closed, the resulting P&L becomes realized and may be included in the profit-sharing calculation for the applicable settlement period.
8. What Happens During Liquidation?
If a copied position is liquidated, the system recalculates the applicable realized loss and pending profit-sharing amount.
If the liquidation result reduces the amount eligible for profit sharing, the previously frozen amount may decrease.
Any excess amount that is no longer required to be frozen will be released back to the Copy Trader.
